The annual production of 200000 tons of biodiesel project by Weifang Jinxinda Biochemical Co., Ltd. is a high-end industrial project registered and supported by the National Development and Reform Commission for green environmental protection, circular economy, and renewable energy. This project produces biodiesel, plant asphalt, crude glycerol, etc. from waste oil (gutter oil). In 2008, it was listed by the National Development and Reform Commission as one of the top ten key energy-saving projects and an investment project within the central budget. The first phase of the 50000 ton/year biodiesel project was put into operation in 2010.
